The Grunewald is Berlin’s largest forest with 3000 hectares of nature. There are many cycling and hiking trails and together we will experience a special day. We will not only walk through the forest and admire huge old trees, but also get to know many swimming spots on the Havel, the lake Teufelssee and the lake Nikolassee. From the hill of Teufelsberg you have a good view over Berlin. The mountain was piled up after the war from the rubble of ruined Berlin and up here at the time of the division was a listening station of the Allies. The day invites you to relax and take a deep breath. This hike through the Grunewald gives you a completely new look at the lives of Berliners in the greenest city of Europe.
